The Masque of The Red Delights

Hiya dolls! I hope the week has been grand so far!! My husband's last day off work for the Christmas season was yesterday, so now he'll be at work everyday until Christmas day, so I hope the time flies by :) But, it does give me time to go shopping and wrap presents without spying eyes all week :) Any snow we had has now gone away, though the wind is still nippy, it's relatively nice outside. I've been loving red a lot lately, not just because of Christmas, but more for the shade of red that has been seen around just now. Reminds me of painted nails or Little Red Riding Hood. I do enjoy it and plan to seek out more red in my attire. I hope all of you have a wonderful day & I shall visit you very soon :)
Love loves

Good Morning Dainty Doll Face, I had to do a double take on a few of these gorgeous photos, especially the red cape, L O V E contrasting against the blue dress, and the couple kissing...just beautiful. Have fun wrapping and singing along to Christmas Carols. I bet you wrap beautifully too, presents that is...lol. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

  21. I love red too! It is especially dramatic when there is a pop of red in an otherwise stark environment (like the long cape in the wintry landscape!)
    Good luck wrapping presents!

  26. Red is so magical! Everytime I wear red lipstick or just a huge red jumper I feel special. It's the most vivid of the natural colors, and full of contradictions - tomato red is so warm, and the shade of raspberry may be as cold as ice. Have a great Thirsday dear! Sorry for not writing for so long!

  34. So many beautiful images in red here! That billowing one -- is it chiffon or a dense red liquid in water? And that sea of red umbrellas was lots of fun! Love the spirit of Christmas that red brings!

  36. Just popped over to answer your question about the gift wrapping paper I used as my email went to no-reply. I bought it from John Lewis, as I said, I couldn't resist the lovely pattern with the birds and stags ;-) Have a lovely day and stay warm - it's hideous out there today xo
