Hiya doll faces!! I hope you are grand!! So glad it's mid-week already, the weather has calmed down here. It's not as blistering hot, yet warm and there is a very pleasant wind blowing through, it's marvellous actually. I wish it could stay like this forever. My husband is away until Thursday night (he left yesterday), so we've been here on our own - girls just having fun..not as much really, we all quite miss the husband/daddy, we are his girls, so when he's not around we miss him terribly!! He'll be glad for the break, one man with three girls in the house, it's a lot for any male :)) I just put together some random photos that were taken throughout the days. Random moments of life, what I enjoy most. I hope you enjoy them & have a wonderful day dolls!!

{Honey coconut cupcakes with caramel icing that I made...so yummy :))) I'll try and put the recipe up soon on my facebook page}
{Quote that was on the wall in the museum I was wandering around in...I quite liked it!
Camille Pissarro was a French painter born on the island of St Thomas (now in the US Virgin Islands, but then in the Danish West Indies). His importance resides in his contributions to both Impressionism and Post-Impressionism.}
{Crazy men out in the rain bowling, but I admit, I really want to do it too, it looks fun. I can always hear them shouting at each other, haha. I think I could beat them :))
Below, view from further away, the one to get their ball closest to the target wins and you can knock the others' ball out of the way, that's why you hear them shouting at each other sometimes.}
{A Nursing corset from the early 20th century. Cotton with steel fastenings. Looks comfy huh!?! ;-)}
{"The Harpy Celaeno", by Mary Pownall. From Greek Mythology . The Harpies were fierce, filthy, winged monsters who had characteristics of a bird and a woman, similar to that of the early Sirens. Their hideous faces of women with sharp claws mounted on the bodies of vultures inspired both horror and disgust. They could fly as fast as a bolt of lightening. I really wanted to take her home, she's a rather marvelous piece of work. From the Kelvingrove Museum}
{I was fixing my belt & my husband took the picture anyways, haha! But, the stream of light shining on me was nice. My daughter said it was my grandmother & father saying hello :)))) Which made me smile!!} {Dress and belt are vintage}
{Another world below. At the sea. My daughter said it was a friend of Spongebob Square Pants, I laughed. Kids say great things}
