{Daydreams & Visions} Artist Pakayla Biehen

As most of you know, I love and adore dreamy things..so when I came upon these beauties, I couldn't help but stop and stare and daydream away. One glance and I instantly felt as if I was standing in a field of the most amazing flowers with the wind dancing through my hair and the sweet and lulling aroma of decadent florals were tantalising my senses.  These have been created through the wonderful paintings of Pakayla Biehn, derived from double exposure photography. Based in San Francisco, she collaborates with several photographers, produces double exposure photographs for inspirations, and then paints the images using oil on canvas in the most realistic, detailed and ethereal way. I'm so impressed, they're just wonderful.  I hope you enjoy them to & have a visit to her website to see more wonders!

Have a gorgeous weekend my sweethearts!!
All love & beautiful 'tings.

  31. Beautiful! Some of these paintings actually looks like photos. So realistic - but in a dreamy way. Wonderful! :) I also love the idea of putting glitter in that little scent flask I wrote about in my Fabergé Friday post. As soon as I saw someone who looks a bit sad or depressed, I would bring out that flask and sparkle that person a bit! Glitter always makes you feel better! ;) xoxoxoxo
