{Friday Favourite} Illustrator Adolie Day

Hello my dollfaces! Did you have a great week!?! I hope so. To end the week I wanted to share with you some amazing artwork by Adolie Day. I discovered her wondrous talent on Instagram and was instantly besotted with this sensational work.
Adolie comes from France, she was a textile designer for 3 years for children's fashion (Kenzo, Catimini...) & now she's a freelance illustrator. You can find her precious designs also on cards, jewellery, cards, buttons and more at La Merelle in France. You can also find her work in different places like England (Chocovenyl) and the U.S. (Galison).
Her work is fun, sweet & decadent with a dash of spice, I enjoy her drawings mixed with real life photos, you feel as though these dainty beauties with just walk off the paper and into your hand to say hello (or bonjour even). Inspired by fairytales & we all know how much I love anything fairytale like and dreamy. She's created a wonderland where anything is possible, you just need to dream it. It's poetic and magical and I adore getting lost in it. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. This is just a small sampling of her work, do check out her facebook page & website for more treasures.

Have a fantastic weekend

And lastly...this is late, but I got picked for the round-up links on ifb :)))) My first time!!

Cozy Up
For all the talk about when "Fall" is officially here, there are two real things that christen the season for me, 1) turning the heater on and 2) getting a cold. Since both those things happened this week, it's super official. What does that mean? Time to cozy on up! Cozy up with what you ask? A good book? Your blogs? That snuggly sweater you invested in for the season? Why not all of the above?
This week we've got the perfect round of links for an autumn afternoon, one blogger shares her experience braving the crowds for the 3.1 Philip Lim for Target collab (did I say BRAVE?) another shares what she learned from NYFW, and we finally get the answers to whether it's "plaid" or "tartan"... Lord knows we wouldn't want a clash of the tartans!

  31. I'm so glad you shared this, Kizzy doll. I'm always on the look out for artists and their illustrations that strike me. I also love to look out for more styles of drawings so that I could model after them and add my own creativity to the. I love this! Maybe I should try her style of drawing in black pen. I love all those photos that you featured here which are mixed with reality like the ones standing on the food, sitting on the lipstick, strawberry and dangling in the champagne glass. Super love them!!! I think I might get some inspirations from these! Thank you for sharing and enjoy the last moments of the weekend!
