Hiya beauties!! I'd thought I'd share just a few things I've bought recently with you today!! I always forget to do this, but I finally remembered, I'll try to do these kinds of posts more often as I sometimes get asked to see the things I've bought after talking about them on twitter. So here we are!! I haven't bought too much as I put myself on a slight shopping ban until August, lol. Which is fine as I haven't seen a lot lately that I have the budget for anyways. So, I'll leave you with these pretties, I hope you enjoy. Have a wonderful weekend!
Loves & Loves
I finally got a hold of this perfume, I had been wanting to try it for a long time now. It's Dita Von Teese's first perfume. I love the sultry bottle. It's a very sensual, mysterious and feminine perfume. It opens with fresh peonies (one of my favourite flowers) fizzy bergamont, slightly spicy Bourbon pepper, The heart of the perfume is Bulgarian Rose, Tahitian Tiare petals, fresh jasmine. The base notes are patchouli, musk, smoky Gaiac wood and sandalwood. If you like sweet kind of perfumes, I would avoid this as it's far from that. It makes me think of boudoirs filled with satin and lace, feathers and tassels, seduction and mystery. I don't usually care for 'celebrity' type scents as they don't always know the art of creating a mood with a scent, but there is always a first for everything. And of course Dita has marvellous taste & style, so I've been impressed.
My new sandals for the summer time. I hadn't been to River Island in years, I tend to shop more online as I don't like shopping in stores with crowds and pushy people. But, as soon as I saw them on display I rushed right over. They have a bohemian vibe to them that I love, I had picked a slightly different pair first, but weren't available in my size, so I went with my second favourites. They fit perfectly, I love them!
And below...some of you will know that I am a freak for earrings, especially big hoopy ones & I spotted these also in River Island, so there was no way I could leave them behind, haha. They made me think of the Belle Epoque champagne bottles from Maison Perrier-Jouët - not that I drink, I just adore the bottles. I'll try & show these & the sandals in an outfit post some time in the summer :)
Coming next week...Icecream dresses & also I'll be talking about these beauty products below! I meant to do it this week, but time got away from me with my youngest having the cold!! She is much better now though....
