Sunshine in my heart!

Happy Tuesday dolls!! Sorry I'm starting the week off today, my youngest was home unwell yesterday, so I had to be with her. I hope you are well. The weather has brightened up after a very wet weekend and I'm happy to see some sunshine, which influenced this post. The winter is so very grey and dreary, so I wanted to inject some sunshine into the day!! I love yellow in the winter time, it gives me feelings of warmth and harmony. The outside might not be so bright and cheerful for most of us, but we can radiate sunshine and warm the hearts of those around us as well as ourselves.
I feel it's especially needed at this time of year because quite often the mood of others isn't as cheerful as it should be, being Christmas, people can turn greedy (greedier) and cold, stealing the very sunshine from our grasp. People are over-worked and under-paid, others lost without family or a home, one can easily be the sunshine they need through helping and giving to lighten the load they carry.
Sunshine doesn't always have to come from the sun, it can come from ourselves through a smile, a kind note, a helping hand, a gift. The world is so grey at any time of year, but especially at this time it can feel worse...why not be the sunshine in someone's rainy day...it can make their world and yours a whole lot brighter!!

Have a gorgeous day dolls

  2. Morning Kizzy! So sorry for your daughter, hope is better now. Love what you wrote, actually is what I needed to read this morning to cheer me up a bit. Weather is pretty dull and rainy here, at least your positive words made me smile. And yes, I do believe sunshine comes from ourselves too. Have a wonderful week ahead Kizzy, many hugs! xo

This morning when I woke up and looked outside, there it was - the SUN! :D We haven't seen it for some time here in Sweden either, so when it comes out for just a moment everything feels a bit lighter and brighter!
