5 Lovely Things....

Happy Monday beauties!! I hope you had a gorgeous weekend. I had planned something else for today, but time got away from me since yesterday was Mother's Day here in the UK. I had a lovely day & also learned never to take my youngest to an aquarium as she screamed all the way through it, didn't like it at all, haha. But, it was lovely besides that & my girls gave me the sweetest gifts. Here are just some lovely things that I've been pondering over these last weeks, I hope you enjoy them & have a gorgeous Monday!

I want to have bunny nails, haha!! I think I may give this a try...it's perfect for the upcoming Easter season!! These picture instructions look easy or at least make it look quite easy!! Nail art is really amazing to me!! So pretty!!

Morning in Japan....it looks so peaceful and wonderful. I love the colours and structure! I need to go here :) You can see more amazing pictures taken by Kenji Yamamura here!

I adore this look from Bohemique's Spirit Book for Spring 2014. Everything they create, I love!! The tulle on the dress and these sexy boots, perfection. If you want to see more, check out their facebook page!

Sometimes I feel like colouring my hair, some crazy colour. Not so much this green, even though it's very pretty. But, I more so love these trousers, I think I want some for the spring/summer time to wear with a strappy top like this...she looks super cool :)

And below...to end with some positivity....Some of us spend so much time doubting ourselves or listening to the negatives in life, imagine how far we'd go if we did the opposite!?! Darkness or negative thoughts can't drive out darkness...only light and positivity can do that...if you want to go far, we need to get rid of the things that try and weigh us down & putting belief in yourself is a great place to start..because if you don't believe, who else will!?! Don't be your biggest obstacle in life - be your biggest champion!

{Dainty Label Love} Fumbalinas

Step into the dreamland of Fumbalinas, an enchanted place filled with flowers and imagination, where dreams can be created out of every day morsels, fashioned together to make the ordinary into fantastical. A touch of fantasy, a dash of edge, dancing together with decadence, pieces made for dreamers who dare live out their dreams instead of leaving them in their beds.
These divine beauties created by the darling Jodie Cartman, she fashions delectables from re-using & recycling objects of every day manner, antique or those that are obsolete. Giving new life and beauty to the old whilst creating collections whispering to be looked at, touched and loved.
Not only is she a busy bunny creating intricate & stunning designs for her own collections, she's also created commission pieces for the likes of Vogue, Ellen Rogers Photography, Song birds - Femme, Morcheeba's Skye Edwards & Ellie Ingram as well as bridal, theatre, cabaret, and Ascot pieces too!
So dolls, what do you think? Love is not a strong enough word to describe my feelings for these, my dainty head spins with delight looking at these fairy tale wonders! I enjoy that each one is different from the other & that their made with vintage pieces or items left behind, so they have a story to tell to those who gaze upon or wear them. I hope you enjoy them & wish you a marvellous weekend dolls! To see more (and I think you should) please visit the Fumbalinas website, facebook or twitter page too!

Red painted dreams blowing in the wind....

As you can see, I was able to get out & take some pictures with the sun shining bright! The wind was blowing my dress all over the place, so thankfully there wasn't anyone around to see. It's so refreshing to feel the sun beat against the skin, warming up the bones that have long since felt asleep through winter. The air is brisk & swift like dancers turning again and again. Blue skies with big puffy clouds floating by...spring awakening once more, my favourite season. I hope you have a great day dolls!!

Open up & bloom, Show them who you are!

Hello my darling flowers!! Happy Monday to you....I had a few days break from blogging & just relaxed, read books, listened to music and rested, I felt a bit exhausted after the long week my husband was away. It rained a little & then the sun came out to play, which has me thinking of flowers as I know they will be bursting through soon. I cannot wait to see the peonies and blossom trees, I love them so!! I love floral any thing really & at any time! Flowers themselves, floral print in fashion, the home, everything!! It brings me happiness. And I think of people as flowers sometimes as well, you can either stay shut away and not bloom or you can open up and let your beautiful colours show - bloom in a sense! I hope that you will bloom and show the world who you are...because we all make the world a better and more colourful place when we 'bloom' and show the beauty that we bring!!
So get blooming & have a wonderful Monday!!

Street Hearts with Street Beats!

Hello dolls! Happy Wednesday to you...I hope the week is faring well so far for you!?! The weather has been back to rain here lately, so I thought it was a good time to share some more of my favourite looks lately that I've seen around the blogspehere!! They are all quite different from each other, but that's what I love best about blogs, many different personalities, expressions and creativity, I never get bored!! Some of these are my friends & others are ones I admire from afar!! I hope you enjoy them too & maybe find something new and engaging to!!

Have a marvellous day dolls

My friend Sara from Hello The Mushroom. She always wears some of the cutest things, I loved this outfit in particular because of the blue dress and those amazing metallic shoes!! The cardigan and bag just top it off perfectly!! I instantly wanted the outfit as son as I seen it!! Sara has a marvellous blog, I love it!!

My friend Louise from Pandora. I appreciate her creativity and drive to seek out new things and push her own boundaries in creativity & expression. I particularly loved this look as it's a mix of retro, school girl and Parisian without being so obvious or overdone. Louise is a marvellous person & I'm happy we've become friends through our shared passions & blogs too.

Alix from The Cherry Blossom Girl. Well, Alix always has things on that I love, she's very girly & I particularly loved this look because well, look at this skirt!!! I love it so, just gorgeous!! I love black & white looks, but the skirt design keeps it from fading into the background for me!!

Sweet Elena from My Name is Peggy Sue aka. 'Pink Princess. I've never been much of a pink person, but since discovering Elena's blog & her passion for pink, she has caused me to enjoy pink a lot more than I did before. I always adore her fantastic dresses & shoes. She loves American 50's & it's always evident to see. Elena is also the sweetest girl ever, always adore her posts! This is one of my favourite dresses she has, it's so beautiful!

My lovely friend Miss. Martha from Your Uglier Friend. I have read her blog for many years now & with each post I love it more and more!! Not only is she gorgeous, but we share many passions like art, books, fairy tales and creativity. Her outfit posts are always as creative as the one before, so I never get bored. Plus, she is one of the kindest people around. I picked this one because well, she's 'floating' and I want to float as well ;-) Plus, I love lace & this dress is exquisite!!

Lastly, to go out with some amazing colour & creativity. This is Anne from Cycle in Heels. I happily found her through my friend Sara's blog & I adore her so much. She is a breath of fresh air for me, I love her fearless creativity and love of colour. Anne also designs her own jewellery & fashions...see here. Her creations & the things she wears are out of this world. Beautiful, striking, fun and colourful...love it...LOVE it!!

Live Intensely...Bright & Bold!

Hello darlings!! I hope your weekend was bliss! Finally Monday...I for one am happy the weekend is over because my husband comes back home today from Brazil!! A week has felt like a month, so I am excited!! Today, I wanted to share some explosively colourful pictures with you, I discovered them some weeks ago, they are from the creatively brilliant mind of Tejal Patni, a photographer & filmaker who works out of Dubai. These pictures are his work for the Dubai-based company Splash & I just adore them, the colour, the fashions, the scenes, everything is just out of this world. I feel as though I'm sort of travelling to another world viewing them, I would adore to wear any of these fashions as well, it would be so sublime!! I hope you enjoy them as I do & they add a splash of colour and fun to your Monday too!!
Have a gorgeous day my lovelies!!
