{Dainty Inspiration} Get Fruity!

Hello dolls!! I hope the week is treating you well so far!! Here, it has been non-stop rain and hale, so I'm pretending it doesn't exist with some fruit fashion inspirations! I love fruit prints and quirky fruit shaped items you can wear not only in the warmer months, but in the winter time as well to add a bit of brightness to an otherwise dull time. And you can take inspiration in all directions, fashion, beauty, Interiors...anything! I personally love to wear fruit patterns on my clothes or a fruit clutch with a bright pop of fruity-licious inspired nail polish to finish off my outfits. Metallic Green!

Hello dolls & happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, the weather here was a bit pitiful, but that's ok. A few weeks ago I was contacted by the online fashion site FrontRowShop for collaboration, of course I said yes as I enjoyed their range of different styles for every fashion lover out there. It wasn't just items to suit one particular look, but many with lots of colours and designs. The concept behind this store is to help women feel special and cherished. "Front Row" means the front seat for key people during Fashion Week, including celebrities, fashion icons and editors. With the help of their fashion lines, Frontrowshop wants women to feel like VIP's. I've never even been to a Fashion Week & love when things make a person feel great, so this whole idea got my attention straight away.

I picked this Cut Out Top because it's something different from anything in my wardrobe and I like trying new things. It arrived in the post very quickly, I was very impressed as I thought I would be waiting a long time for it. Wrapped very elegantly and protected, which is great as you know how postmen can be a bit brutal with your packages. 

I tried the top on straight away and the fit is great, it's a loose fitting shirt, so I didn't expect it to be fitted, but it's not ill-fitting either. You can choose to wear it out in full or tucked in as I did on this occasion. This is also going to be perfect for the summer to keep me cool and to wear over my swimsuit at the beach. I never would have thought of wearing this if I had seen it at the shop, so I'm glad that I took a chance to try something new as I really enjoy this top. The material is soft and light-weight, really comfortable to wear, you could team it with numerous amounts of things to wear underneath. 

The people at FrontRowShop were also very kind and helpful in getting my order, the website is very well laid out and easy to navigate. I'm super pleased with my top choice & I would recommend shopping with them, besides clothing there is also some very cool accessories and shoes to delight the eyes too. {The Powder Room} Firmoo Glasses Review!

A while ago, I was contacted by the eyeglass company Firmoo.com, to see if I would be interested in trying out a free pair of glasses or sunglasses to share with all of you here. At first I was hesitant about ordering glasses on-line, but then thought why not!?! I had a good browse on their website, which is really easy to use & I liked being able to upload a picture of myself to 'see' what the glasses might look like on me in their Virtual Try-On system. Makes it a lot easier since I wasn't trying them on before ordering. The product specification list for each pair also really gives you a helping hand when deciding on a pair to suit your needs. I first loved pair F016 but since I already own a pair similar, I settled on this pair F047 for something different. Ordering is so simple, you just pop in all the information from your prescription onto a simple form and place your order. My glasses arrived in 7 days through the post, they were enclosed in a standard hard protective case along with a cleaning cloth (which I might add was bigger and better than the one I already had from Specsavers) A soft protective pouch and a tiny screwdriver with extra screws (which I've never received before from any eyeglass company) I was very impressed with the standard and the quick delivery!

The service from Firmoo was impeccable, helpful and very clear. I was nervous about making a mistake when ordering, but it couldn't have been easier, the website is very well laid out and I love my glasses. My husband who is weary of things like this even likes them and thinks they're quite good quality. They sit perfectly on my face, I usually end up taking glasses back in to have them adjusted as they hurt my ears or something, but these haven't bothered me at all and their so light weight, I barely feel like I have them on! 

The Firmoo.com site has a wide range of fashionable glasses and sunglasses including a selection of designer shades. So affordable too, I was shocked to see glasses at $8.00 - yes $8.00 (where was this company when I was a kid and had to get ugly glasses because they were affordable, ha). The price for the ones I chose were just $36, I know such a bargain!! I think it's brilliant as everyone should be able to afford great looking glasses to help them see clearly. I'm obsessed with the 'Humans of New York' website & facebook page! So good, so many different faces, walks of life, but there is always something that connects us all together. And her outfit is pretty awesome too!!

This super precious artwork by Linda Panda, this one is called 'Lovey' and I adore it. Linda is a toy designer and illustrator and obsessed with pandas. Her site is full of gorgeous work, such a wonderful talent!! 

I'm a big fan of silk scarves, especially when it gets windy, you can tie it around your head and it looks gorgeous!! One of my favourite designers of silk scarves is Karen Mabon, Scottish born, her scarves are colourful, yet quirky! I have a few on my list that I would like to own myself. This one is called, 'Robbery in a sweet shop', so cute!! 

This dress from the new Coco Fennell's new line has me dotty - no pun intended! This Twister dress, I love it sooooo much, amazing. Love really long dresses that I can just swish around in, but still look marvellous in!! This one and so many other new ones from her site is perfect :)

And last but not least, these super adorable icecream shoes from the shoe bakery! I couldn't walk in them, but I wouldn't mind putting them on display. So cute and I just love icecream :)

Pastel Dreams!

Happy Spring dolls!! I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter celebrations if you had them!?! Spring has finally arrived here - so far for me!! Easter was warm and lovely and has been ever since, I took the time to enjoy it, get outside and get some fresh air as I was getting bad migraines from being shut in out of the rain. Am so pleased for sunshine, I even got a little tan, haha!! I've begun my spring cleaning and one thing I always love in spring is all the pastel colours that explode in flowers, clothes - everywhere!! I love love pastels, so this is just a little mood board of some pastel inspirations that I love at the moment!! I have some pastel pieces in my wardrobe you'll see soon on the blog as well!!
