When I need to get away from the fast paces of everyday life, I only need to go to Loch Lomond. Where the air is clear, you hear the birds singing and the swans of love gently floating past you. Something about it's charms captivates the mind and spirit. From the early morning mist that rises to gently brush the shores with golden warmth. It was one of the first places I went to when I visited Scotland for the first time (I lived in England first & have my favourites there) and its been a favourite ever since.
Loch Lomond is the largest loch (lake) in the UK. It is 24 miles long, 5 miles wide, up to 600 feet deep and it has 38 islands. Pictures alone can't express the beauty of the place & (these are just a little taste of it. I never take too many, as then I don't relax as I'm in photographer mode) I never tire of it and no matter the season, I always take a trip there to get away - Spring, Summer, Autumn (Fall) and even Winter, yes even Winter, which is great, as there are less tourists or just the less brave ones, as it can get really cold, but I love it!! Well, I hope you enjoy the photos & wish you a great day!!
Love love
