Still Breathing, Always Dreaming...

Hello dolls, Happy Monday!! I hope the weekend was fabulous. My weekend ended a bit on a sad note, I received news that a family friend had passed away. Am doing ok, she was my older sister's dear friend, so my sister is quite saddened. I know we'll meet again some day & if I keep her alive in my heart, she will always be here! Just sad as she leaves behind young children & family. But, it reminded me of life, how fragile it is and how it can slip through our fingers like the sands on a beach. Live life fully, laugh, let yourself be happy, enjoy the small things, family, friends, let go of hard ships, people who bring you down and run, run strong and free and discover where the wind might take you & always know matter what, love yourself and let others love you - then you will have lived a full life! I don't want to be full of sadness, but of hope, hope that one day we'll all meet again and in everything I do, those that have left this world are still with me in some way or another. I found this video the other day and had to share it, as it's quite haunting and beautiful, kind of suits my mood just now!! I hope you enjoy it & I wanted to leave the end of this with some positivity and love, may you all have a blessed and wonderful Monday :)

All love

And to leave you with some positivity for Monday!!

  11. Usually a bit scared of water and watching films from under it, but as soon as I pressed play I was completely amazed at how beautiful the girl and the music was.

You seem like such a strong and brave person, and you're very right; passing away is not the end. It's just an old door that closes and a new one that opens.

Lovely post to read to start my week off.

  27. Kizzy, as I read this, I could not help but think about how I would have felt if I had lost someone such as a close friend. As we age, out friends become so important to us, like family. So sorry for your sister's loss and for your sadness as well. Video had such soothing music. I think I held my breath a few times because of the underwater scene. Lol. Have a pleasant one darling doll. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

  34. I'm so sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you and your sister. Last year, I lost my mother and grandmother within a few weeks of each other. Sadness can be unbearable, and then you realize that life is still beautiful, so are your memories, and you move on. I still think of my mom -- more than I ever used to! I like to think she is still guiding me, even now. And, somehow, the year after has been full of new beginnings. I wonder if she had something to do with it? ;-)

Beautiful video and music box sound.
