I love a good fairy tale...I love the rush of the heart when the prince comes and takes the princess away from the horrible step-mother or the other way around. Or the belief of something so deeply in your heart and soul, that nothing in this world could ever come and shake you from it. The thought of standing strong through bad times and knowing brighter skies are on their way. It's what pulls us through, helps us heal and be reborn. Fairy tales need not always be those read in books or seen on movie screens, they can be a single person who lives with goodness in their hearts, someone who thinks of helping others or smiles at strangers. Someone who lends us a hand in our darkest hours. In this world, there is so much negativity that happiness and belief of good things are becoming like fairy tales. But, they can be restored and believed in once more...just click your heels and say...''I do believe in love & magic, I do I do'' and the dangers of the world can be defeated...because love and belief are stronger than all things!!!
Have a great Monday fair Princess' & Princes.

Your Monday posts always make me smile, especially this one. So interesting--the fairytale, while it never went anywhere seems to be making a comeback into our collective unconscious. It's the second time within the past 24 hrs it's come up and I think the universe is trying to tell me something. Happy Monday Kizzy!

What a thoughtful post. I too love a good fairy tale and those who have the courage to act upon what they believe is right. Good things happen every day. Sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives we just don't see it.

ReplyDeleteOh, so you do watch Once Upon a Time. Did you see the finale? I can't remember if I saw it or not. Was wondering if it ended with the people getting their memories back?
ReplyDeletethis post is adorable, and I love that quote about slaying the dragon, it's so true!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Post Kizzy! Growing up, I always adored Fairy Tales and anything starting with Once Upon A Time. If anything became crazy or too difficult in my life I would resort to Fairy Tales. For me it was a Happy Place. There are so many negative things that are taking place in this world, often times I'm discouraged. But all you can do is just keep trying to touch people's lives. GOD uses our talents as tools to reach other people. I believe that is your gift and purpose with your blog. Beautiful post!

Yet again I realize we have the same kind of souls! :) I have always loved fairytales - and I still do! I'm a romantic who believes in love at first sight and magic, and see fairies dancing on misty meadows at dusk. Tim Burton is my favorite director, and I think I could live in one of his movies! But tonight I want to sleep in that bed in the forest... xox
ReplyDeleteI really love this post!
