Sometimes you just can't wait to wear something. Like this lace dress for instance, I got it at the end of summer last year and it's been sitting in my closet whispering to me ever since. It's far too thin to wear in the winter, but since it had brightened up a little bit (Note. these were taken last week before the rain & sleet we've been having this week), I thought why not and put it on for a quick trip to the post office. And though it may not look it, it was icy cold outside. The wind was like little pinches against the skin, though the warm sun was shining, just not enough to entice me to take my velvet jacket off to fully show the dress, maybe wear it again the spring/summer time. But, it did lift the spirit and give visions of flowers gently swaying in the light breeze that comes to cool the surroundings from the beating sun's warm glow. When I can wear this dress with no jacket on, no shoes, no stockings, just prance bare legged around the sea as the waves crash to and fro against the rocks and all is sublime. The salty essence against my lips and the birds saying hello from the wonderful skies above. Puffy clouds that look like peculiar shapes of bunnies and ladies floating by the daydreamer as you lay upon the sand...yes, I am ready for Spring. Little lambs, the sweet aroma of a flower's nectar, trees stretching forth with new leaves coming alive once more in a symphony of re-birth.  So excited :) It'll be here soon for those who are coming out of winter...let's enjoy it happening!
