Step into the dreamland of Fumbalinas, an enchanted place filled with flowers and imagination, where dreams can be created out of every day morsels, fashioned together to make the ordinary into fantastical. A touch of fantasy, a dash of edge, dancing together with decadence, pieces made for dreamers who dare live out their dreams instead of leaving them in their beds.
These divine beauties created by the darling Jodie Cartman, she fashions delectables from re-using & recycling objects of every day manner, antique or those that are obsolete. Giving new life and beauty to the old whilst creating collections whispering to be looked at, touched and loved.
Not only is she a busy bunny creating intricate & stunning designs for her own collections, she's also created commission pieces for the likes of Vogue, Ellen Rogers Photography, Song birds - Femme, Morcheeba's Skye Edwards & Ellie Ingram as well as bridal, theatre, cabaret, and Ascot pieces too!
So dolls, what do you think? Love is not a strong enough word to describe my feelings for these, my dainty head spins with delight looking at these fairy tale wonders! I enjoy that each one is different from the other & that their made with vintage pieces or items left behind, so they have a story to tell to those who gaze upon or wear them. I hope you enjoy them & wish you a marvellous weekend dolls! To see more (and I think you should) please visit the Fumbalinas website, facebook or twitter page too!

ReplyDeleteHi Kizzy! I didnt know this brand and the lady behind it, she is truly an artist! Her creations are marvelous and real masterpiece! Im impressed by the fact she recicle and reuse objects, is something that always fascinate me: as a thing can be renewed and used in other way. Im in love with all the floral crowns, especially the sixth. Have a marvelous weekend my dear, hope u rest and enjoy it! Hugs and kisses! xo
ReplyDeleteOk, so these are ridiculously amazing! I love the first one and I think I would wear it all the time… regardless of the intrigued looks I'm sure I'd get in my little village!

I've not heard of Fumbalinas so thank you for introducing them to us. I'm always enthralled when people make use of recycled products to churn out beautiful things like this and even more intrigued that these don't look like recycled products itself. That itself is an art. Have a lovely weekend, Kizzy!
