Postcards from the weekend!

Hello babies!! It's Monday again...boo!! I could do with more weekend...but that's ok :) It stayed nice here until late afternoon on Sunday. So we drove over to Loch Lomond to get some fresh air in the sunshine. It was marvellous, though still very cold, but you couldn't resist the feeling of the warm sun beating down on you. Had the wind not been blowing, you would have sworn it was a happy spring day! The flowers were popping up from the ground, the tree branches had buds on them, I was very happy. But, you could also see the effects of all the rain we've had as the loch had risen so much & flooded the shores, so we had to avoid the beach area. Part of the forest walk was flooded too, but it didn't keep us from having a great time. My girls kicked the water around and chased each other in the sunlight, while I sat and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. 

As you can see, I am not wearing a dress, haha. I'm wearing a pair of leggings...it was far too cold and plus I can't fully enjoy nature if I'm wearing my nice clothes...so I wear leggings. I thought it would be something different for you to see what I was wearing when I wasn't in my every day clothes. I'll try & do more posts like this here & there when I can. Poppies & Crosses Remembrance Markers for those perished in the War.

Some of the grave stones in the church yard on the Loch. The stone below is from 1741. There are ones even older.

I'm standing on some stairs here, the water had risen high enough to cover them. I'm only on the second step down & there are like 5 steps and then beach to walk on, crazy!
