{The Powder Room} Born Pretty Review

Hi dolls!! I hope your weekend was bliss. Some weeks ago, I was contacted by the accessory company 'Born Pretty' asking if I would like to review some products from their jewelry & accessories range on the blog, so I thought 'why not'? and said yes. I got to pick three pieces & have them sent to me. Born Pretty have a wide variety of different pieces of jewelry to choose from, necklaces, earrings, watches, bracelets, rings...I like a wide variety!

But, in the end I chose some purple feather earrings, a heart ring & a pair of drop earrings. Born Pretty ship from overseas, so I knew it was going to take a few weeks & it did. If you're one that doesn't mind waiting for post, this won't be a problem for you.

When the items arrived, they came in a basic white envelope & inside the pieces were in little plastic bags all wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. Personally, for me I like even the smallest details taken into consideration & it would have been nice if the items had come in something a bit sturdier like hard cased boxes, since postal workers can be a bit brutal with packages & it just looks nicer. But, everything was perfectly fine otherwise!

Lovely Heart Ring: This is a cute dainty thing, made of gold coloured alloy with a black heart on the top of it. Super cute, I really liked it, though since it only came in one size, it was too small for my fingers except my pinky, so I let my oldest daughter have it. She loves it as well.

Sweet Candy Coloured Diamond Earrings: These are my favourite out of the three, I love the colour and design. They have little cubic zirconia around the turquoise colour. Lovely enough to wear on a night out and not too fancy that I can't wear them in the daytime too. Didn't feel heavy on my earlobes either, just right & a bonus for me is that my ears didn't react to them. I have to be really selective with earrings I wear as my ears will flare up and get irritated by metals, but I had no reaction to these, so that was nice. Loved these.

Purple Feather Earrings: These I thought were ok...nothing I felt celebrating about, but just ok. I had to flatten the feathers a bit as they got a little crushed in transit, but that was fine. I liked the colour, the purple against the black is gorgeous. But, I've seen feather earrings fuller than these, so I don't think I'd get them again.

Overall, I thought Born Pretty were a great company, very helpful and very willing to make sure everything was perfectly done. The prices are super, if you don't mind waiting for the posting times (as that's not to be helped) I would most definitely buy from them, a quick browse through their website & it's clear there are plenty of lovely items to choose. I already have my eye on a few things!
