Because you're worth it....

Who better to learn to love than yourself....it's so important to find your value...to know that you are more precious than gold...that you are worthy of all the love in the world...how can we think it possible to love another soul the way it should be loved, if we can not in turn feel and give that same love to ourselves!?! 

Love doesn't care what you look like, how skinny you think you should be, whether you have all the smarts in the world. Sometimes a person has been treated badly & needs to learn what love is...maybe you could be that person to them...no matter what someone's been through...Give yourself a break, you're alive & you're awesome..we are far too hard on ourselves...we think too much of what we feel we should be instead of loving & appreciating the awesome things we are already, no one else in this world is like you or can ever be you...and that is priceless.

A long time ago, I would spend so much time thinking I wasn't good enough or not as pretty as other girls to the point of severe anxiety...but I had to realize that it had to begin within myself...it wouldn't matter what I changed on the outside or what nice things others might say...I had to change my own thinking from the inside out, I was not put on this Earth to pander to the opinions of others...I was meant to shine as myself, just like they were...I am like no other...you are like no other & this is so very special. When we truly love ourselves, we give no time to the things or people that bring us down & take us away from ourselves, we begin to see what is truly healthy and right for our well being.

To put it another way, If you talked to your friends and family the way you talked about yourself...would you want to be friends any more!?! Would you be leaving them in pieces or feeling on top of the world!?! Maybe keep that in mind the next time you go to cut yourself down or let someone else speak to you in such a way!
