When we think of neckties, we tend to think of business men in suits with stuffy appearances and quite often, when we think of a woman wearing a tie, an androgynous persona comes to mind. But, not everyone wants to wear cheaply made ties to work & not every woman wants to be seen as androgynous. Most of us when we leave the house want to look not only stylish, but unique. We want to stand out in the world instead of blending in among the masses. 

That's why I feel BIBI SAB is the perfect fit for these creative minds. These are no ordinary ties - these will tantalise your colourful senses and delight the eyes of admirers around. Created & designed by the stunning Sabah Mauladad, a London-based designer (saab is her nickname & bibi means 'esteemed lady' in Arabic) after having studied fashion & design and worked for more than a decade in luxury fashion industries such as Harrods & Net-a-porter, she spotted a desire for elegance that neck ties can bring and set about creating her dreams. 

These silk ties are exclusive and not mass produced. Hand-made to a very high standard, embellished with Swarovski crystals, sequins and gems for an extremely lush look and feel. Sabah kindly asked if I would wear one of her beautiful ties to share with all of you here. Of course I had no hesitation because bringing unique and beautiful things here is what I love most. I picked out the Lady Marmalade tie as I adored the fringe, colours and name of it too. But believe me, you're spoilt for choice, as each one of these designer ties is equally as beautiful as the next. 

My tie arrived delicately wrapped with care and even more stunning in person as it had been on the screen. My first thoughts were Wow and my second thought was don't break it! It's quite clear from the first glance, that these pieces are made with love and great passion. I've never seen anything like them before, I was very impressed and couldn't wait to put it on.

It was easy deciding what to wear, these ties go with anything, even my casual clothes. I didn't feel like I had to keep it for special occassions, it fit in very well. I loved how it sparkled in the sunlight and caught the eye of people around too. It just fastens with two strings - very simple to put on and take off. It's impeccable, I couldn't stop looking at it while wearing it.  

I couldn't recommend treating yourself to one of these beauties enough, I love that they're not overly expensive, the prices have range, so any one wishing for luxury can have it. I love wearing bows and ties, so having one of these for my collection is a must. Below you can see some of the ways I wore my tie, I had so much fun in it.
