Great friends are worth more than gold...

Hello dolls!! I hope the week has started well for you. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all the amazing birthday wishes and notes left for me on the day and over the weekend, it was such a joy to read them. They just added to the marvellous time I had and I am thankful for each and everyone of them. I will share with you my birthday presents, but today, I wanted to make a special post for a birthday gift from someone who has become more than just a friend, but like family. Someone who goes above and beyond what it is to be a friend. Someone who is always there and never asks for anything in return. As a birthday surprise, Kim from A Very Sweet Blog sent me a huge box of treats and I'm not just talking sweets or make-up or anything like that. Kim knows how I love Modcloth, but had yet to buy anything from them, so she took it upon herself to treat me with some pretty things from there. I tried to say nooo...that it was too much, but she threatened and said if I didn't pick some things I liked, she would just pick some things herself and send them to me any ways, haha. So being cheeky, I made a list of things I liked and still made her choose, haha.

Not for a second did I think she was sending more than one thing, so I was extremely shocked when I opened the box and seen all of these treats. More like I burst into tears and couldn't speak for a while. I am not used to people being so kind to me in such a self-less way, usually people have some kind of agenda, but Kim is one of the truest people I have ever come across in this life. She is always so kind, funny and giving, she treats people how she would like to be treated. Through blogging, you can come across all kinds of people - that just like in life can be in it only for themselves, but every now and again you can come across someone who can restore your belief in people & that is Kim. 
I could spout a billion words about how amazing Kim is, but it's not about words for me, it's about actions, Kim is not someone of just words, she is actions, if she says she'll do something - she'll do it. If she says she cares or loves you - she shows it. We live in a world that is constantly over-run with empty words of nothing, words to make ourselves seem better than we really are...I don't have time for them, I crave substance and stuff that's real. And that's Kim - real!
I feel amazingly blessed to call her my friend, she's like a light in a world full of dark and I can never express how thankful I am for this amazing gesture...she is the BEST!! 
I hope you enjoy the pictures & please please if you haven't been to Kim's blog before (like, where have you been?) DO IT!! Go...it's one of my favourites, she makes me laugh so much. She should seriously be a sales person, because I always want to shop for pretty things or eat cupcakes after visiting her blog!! Plus & best of all, if you want someone genuine in your life - you have Kim!! You'll see all of these on me in time here on the blog.

And here are my awesome & sweet presents...

Modcloth dresses a go go!! This lovely green dress is so cute, I love it's lady-like vintage essence. And I'm mad for polka dots, so this pretty below is perfect, love it so.

This Unicorn dress is completely ME!! Haha...was love it first sight & Kim picked up on that instantly, I had the biggest smile on my face when I seen this dress. I heart it so much, unicorns have been my favourite since a child & it has all my favourite colours in it combined. Looks like Tomo (my unicorn bag) has some more friends <333

Look at these shoes....they are dainty doll shoes!! I love them so. The ones below I loved so so much, they reminded me of a pair I had when I was young that I had to take back to the store because we didn't have any money and needed food, so when I put them on it reminded me of that. They're all mine, I will wear these shoes till they fall apart, LOL!!

And this Kim had put in as a surprise - I loooooooove See's chocolate...well chocolate in general, so this was gorgeous. 1 pound of chocolate to be demolished, hahaha!! Amazing :)
