Baccurelli's Valley of The Dolls...

You may remember a while back I shared the fantastical, surreal and sexy art work of Baccurelli on the blog, and then I got to have a chit chat with the extraordinary gem behind the decadent world of Baccurelli - Meli! She shared with us her mega doll power & we loved it!! Today, may I present to you 'Baccurelli's Valley of the Dolls! Of course, it's a must that I share these with you - this being the Dolls House and all *wink*
These dynamic dolls have plenty of pizazz, charm, beauty and wit to leave the masses entranced! They are loving, intelligent, artists, dreamers, gorgeous, show stoppers, creators, rebels, strong and ambitious - perfectly embodying the women of the world! I absolutely adore them, they make me smile and feel proud to be a woman ready to take on the world, just superb work by Meli. I always love her vision, drive and determination to spread art & positivity into the world. These dolls are amazing, I hope you love them as much as I do. Be sure to check out Baccurelli Shop / Facebook / Instagram! These are shipped world-wide from the states, so treat yourselves :)

Have a wonderful day dolls
xoxoxoxox

P.s. This isn't a sponsored post, I just love Meli and wanted to share.

~ So without further ado, let me introduce you to the dolls ~

This is Beverly. A goddess queen diva that rocks her natural afro for all the world to behold. She lives to dance and has an enviable collection of sky-high platforms!

The original doll from the Valley of the Dolls...Miss YingYang. This artsy lady loves to relax in her favourite cafe, sipping on White coconut tea while she reads the New Yorker. A gallery maven, her wedding dress was Viktor & Rolf. She considers Commes Des Garçons understated. But, detachment is her most prised possession or lack there of.

Homage to a warrior woman who made androgyny sexy as hell and had us in love with her radical and rebellious style and music. The one and only Grace. Meli saw her first Philip Treacy on her and felt her heart pitter patter. Muse to artists around the world, Grace is still rocking hard and taking names. The Eternal Queen!

Before Dynasty was even conceived, Ava has been rocking the huge shoulder pads and swoon-worthy extravagant jewels. Hair always perfectly coiffed, she loves to leave some curls hair spray free to show her wild side. Whether stepping out in her wide legged trousers or a tight cinched A-Line gingham dress, Ava won't even look in the mirror without her Revlon red.

This is Violet, an eclectic doll that mixes a sense of Renaissance romance with the androgynous severity of a vintage Helmut Lang. Violet tends to be shy, but has a universe of complexity in her. She's a voracious reader with a predilection for the classics like Dostoevsky and Oscar Wilde. Her violet hair brings an air of super-heroism to all her outfits, serving as a reminder of her own inner strength.

The marvellous Rosie here, an icon of female empowerment. Sweet yet powerful. Often controversial, she still represents that lioness strength that we all have to tap into when we get up each day and take full control of our lives. We've come a long way and still have a long road ahead of us towards equal political, economic, cultural and social rights for women. But, we can take a moment to celebrate our wonder-women powers to not just bring home the bacon, but nurture and care for ourselves and loved ones each day.

This is Sonja. She's super proud of her wild crimson locks and plans entire outfits around her rainbow variety lipstick collection. Usually dressed in head to toe black. Her hair and lips are a country all their own. Over the top diva.

This dazzler is Una. Una blurs the lines of fashion, wearing vintage Westwood to her local market on lazy Sunday mornings. Always mixing uptown and downtown. Her Faye-like platinum white hair renders her almost ethereal.

This is Joni, this groovy lady wakes up with the birds chirping outside her window, gathers fresh flowers and sprinkles them in her hair as she sits down to sip a warm tea covered in her Granny's rainbow crochet blanket. She's a nature girl, wild and sweet and wise beyond her years. She lives in patterned kaftans  and colourful wedges. She's as bright as the sun.

This doll needs no introduction, the amazing Bettie! She's influenced us all with her raw sexuality, playfulness and surprising innocence. Nobody has personified the archetypal Madonna/Vixen polarities of a women as perfectly as Bettie. We all have a bit of her sexiness in us, we all have a bit of her unabashed celebration of her curves.

Last, but by no means least, this special bonus Valley of the Doll! The ever amazing Frida! This sexy, vibrant, brilliant artists and relentless fighter stole Meli's heart ages ago in Texas when she stood in front of one of her paintings and was literally turned inside out. She's continued to inspire her ever since. True Goddess of style and art. This icon queen inspires many of us around the world over!

  37. Rainbows have always had a special place in my heart. I still get as excited when I see one now, as I used to get when I was little. Haha! I just can't stop looking at it! :) Saw a beautiful one over Stockholm last week. The sky was full of black clouds, and it was raining a bit, but at the same time the sun was shining. The light was really out of this world! :) <3 <3 <3
