Happy Thursday dolls, I am really ready for the weekend now. My youngest daughter had a slight cold and kept us awake, so I need a long nap. Thankfully she's all better. We're finally going to break into February and I'm so happy for it. Not only do I love Valentine's Day (not the commercialized version but the history of it) but it also puts us a month closer to spring and that makes me happy as I'm over winter & being cold. Today, I just wanted to share some lovely things that caught my eye during the week and gave me a smile. I hope you enjoy them & have a gorgeous day. What is something that made you smile so far this week?

4 Lovely Things: 1. The butterfly effect - Loved this close up of one of the models backstage at the Valentino Haute Couture show taken by Corey Tenold. It just shouts spring to me, so light and airy like a butterfly. 2. Gorgeous antique book covers - I'm always amazed at how beautiful literature covers were long ago, the art nouveau influences are so stunning. I really wish all books were like this now, I much rather have them like this. I find them a lot on pinterest and save them in a folder called Literature. 3. Moon Milk, also courtesy of pinterest, I've become interested in trying out moon milk. Never heard of it before, but I'm entranced. Can have it in different colours and flavours, so I'm going to try out one of the recipes I found and see if it's any good. This one is a rose cardamon almond moon milk. It's so pretty! 4. Furniture designer Gustavo Bittencourt - I love these chairs, they look like half of a flower. Not sure how comfy they are, but I'd definitely be willing to try them out! Pink & gold is such a gorgeous colour combination as well. I can imagine these delicate pieces in a beautiful relaxing room in someone's home. Just gorgeous.

I loved the butterfly make up effect the Valentino created, it goes so well with this couture collection. It was a great show, it inspired me a lot. Lovely picks and inspiration dear.
