Good Monday darling dolls! I hope the weekend was a joyous time for you all. I was sat glued to my seat watching the Olympics, cheering on the GB team to win their medals. I was quite proud of our team for doing so well. The only time I switched and cheered for any fellow American is when Phelps was in the pool or the gymnastics. But, the GB team had me very proud, to climb up the table and get where we stand now, fabulous!! GB is often overlooked at having great athletes, so it's great they gave everyone something to take notice of. I hope that it inspires us all in some way to go the distance and believe in ourselves whatever we may be doing or wanting to do in life, anything is achievable if your willing to put the determination and work into it. Have a sparkling week darlings & welcome to all my new followers, feel free to join me on Facebook and Twitter as well for more of my super ramblings ; )
All love to you

ReplyDeleteI love the photograph about limitations Doll, that's so true and I wish I could break down my inhibitions more often. Your posts always brighten up my Monday which is cool because it's supposed to be the worst day of the week for everyone and to have them brightened is just awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud and inspired by our amazing efforts in the Olympics this year too Doll, I'm so proud and pleased for every single one of our competitors, there really is nothing better than seeing a young persons dreams come true and seeing their efforts paid off with medals. I was even pleased for Murray for once haha!

Hey sweetie! I've been loving the Olympics and was happy that GB did well this weekend too. They really upped their medal count and it was good to see :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! xoxo
I love all of these! Especially the one about limitations vs. being limitless! It's so true! Perception and how we see things really do make all the difference!
ReplyDeleteA perfect post to brighten up a boring Monday! Thank you! :) I've watched the Olympics a bit too. I love it how people from everywhere around the world can just forget about wars and religious differences, and just come together and "play" for a few days in the Olympics. My favorite part of the games is gymnastics, and I loved the American girl who won the gold medal! When I saw the inauguration show I got goose bumps when they lit the Olympic fire. The way they had created that huge fire-flower was amazing! xxx
ReplyDelete"Let your soul shine" -- that is by far my favorite! I'm going to remember that!
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun watching the Olympics this weekend! i'm about to watch women's gymnastics - yay!

Hello Doll! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me sending you an email? I'd really love to feature you on SatinAndSalt! Thanks for another inspiring post. I really loved the quote, let your words heal not wound. I lost my patience and got slightly pissy with someone today...NOT okay with me. Sometimes we all need reminders right?

hey girl! i stayed glued to the tv myself all weekend. hahaha i'm so tired. lol Great Britain did fabulous! i really enjoyed listening to each athletes story. they showcased them here in the states. they really sacrificed a lot (moving and health issues). they are so deserving. i love learning about athletes from other countries. i was so happy for michael phelps! he's been competing since he was 15. hahaha hope all is well doll. ((hug))

I'm an American who finds herself routing for certain athletes regardless of where they are from just because something about their performance touches me. Especially love the unexpected twists and turns this Olympics . . .
