Happy Monday poppets! Good weekend!?! We had fireworks here on Saturday for Guy Fawke's night...lots of fun and then after I was at a birthday party, so we were home quite late, but had a fabulous time. Sunday was spent being lazy and watching recorded shows and cleaning up a messy house ;) A new week begins, sometimes we just don't want to face it, going to school, work or a new adventure, we rather go stick our heads under a pillow and pretend it doesn't exist, but really facing up to the things that make us freak out, are the only things that will make us stronger or smarter! It's ok to be afraid, but use the fear to your advantage and not let it disadvantage you, go out and work hard and strive for what you wish for...oooh the things we could achieve in we believe in the courage of our dreams ;) Have a wonderful and courageous week dolls!

Thanks for all these inspirational words - just what I needed! Just as you said, I really didn't want to get up and face the world today, I simply wanted my cosy and magical weekend to last indefinitely... Have a lovely week xo
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday dear Kizzy, you are so right - it is harder pushing yourself out there, but doesn't it feel good when you do:)

I love the "Get Up," one so much Doll, this is a wonderful selection of courage related photos and it's definitely helped me feel a little better as I thought it would. Your time at the fireworks sounds awesome too, I generally tend to forget about Guy Fawkes night but I love the thought of getting together and watching fireworks under the warmth of a bonfire, it sounds awesome to me even though I've never been before.
ReplyDeleteHello:

Sometimes it's scary to be brave...But things usually turn out better when you don't think so much about things, and just go out and do them instead. Will try to remember this post next time something scares me...Thank you honey! :) <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday sweety! and courage. Good word ;)

I my opinion the fourth sentence is the best. Now that I'm living a difficult moment in my life that would be my everyday mantra.

ReplyDeleteHappy Monday kizzy!! Love these inspiration quotes and yes it is true stop waiting of things to happen and go after what you want!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love that first quote. It's very relevant to my life.
ReplyDeleteThat last photo has been one of my favourite quotes since I was 11.
ReplyDeleteAnd that second last one is so true. I watched the film 'We Bought A Zoo' a few weeks ago (have you seen it? you really must!) and he lives by the rule that all you need is to be brave for just 20 seconds and it may completely change your life for the better.
I'm going to start and life by that! When ever I'm feeling afraid og scared all I need to remember is that it only takes 20 seconds to change the situation.
Looove this post. x
One of my best friends who is also a coach, told me that to feel fear is perfectly ok, we can't fight it sometimes. But we CAN'T let the fear control or define us. That's the challenge! :) Awesome post as usual! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThank you for writing and posting this post. It's exactly what I need right now. Love the first qoute.

You know, sometimes I am afraid to be myself, because I am afraid that people will judge me and think that I am too childish, too loud, to girly, to giggly...
ReplyDeleteBut then, you're right..it DOES take courage to be yourself and to enjoy life as you are. :)
Thank you for always encouraging us with your posts. :)
Much love! xxxooo
I think I did take the quote from you. I am linking now :)
