Good day dear flower petals, my husband has tomorrow off, so I am blogging today, so I am free tomorrow :) Sometimes, I get asked what do I wear on lazy days if I'm wearing dresses every day!?! Well, I wear the same stuff, I just have categories of dresses and skirts, some are more dressy than others. I have all kinds of dresses that suit whatever I'm doing. And when I'm in the house I just slop around in a pair of leggings or something like that, not really anything the outside will see, haha :) But, I hope that answers your question. It's not vanity or anything like that, I just enjoy dressing up, it's a matter of personal taste really. I think of getting dressed as putting on a costume or playing dress up all day...you will however, see me go around with my hair tied up and not even brushed, but that's just because I have thick curly hair and can get away with it, it looks as if I did my hair, haha :) Have a wonderful day dolls & all my fellow Americans, please don't forget to cast your vote, it does matter!
Love loves

ReplyDeleteI love these photos and I also love your philosophy of wearing dresses even during lazy days, it's not vanity at all, it's just what you like. Great post as always Doll and I really hope that you and Gavin enjoy the next few days.

What a fabulous dress Kizzy!
ReplyDeleteThe colors suit you so well, you're like taken directly out of an old film!
You remind me so much of a little story my mum used to read when I was younger. Can't remember the name of it (actually think my own great granddad wrote it for our family and then it's been passed on as bedtime reading for the girls) and can't quite remember the storyline either but I have a perfectly clear vision of one of the ladies in it and you're exactly who I picture!
Have an amazing time with your husband tomorrow x
That looks great! And I love that you wear so many dresses. I don't wear them enough. I feel I should, but now that cold is creeping up on us I'd really rather not...;)

I would love to have more dresses, mine are really only for going out in and we rarely do that now, I'd really like to build dress wearing in to an everyday event.
ReplyDeleteI would wear it with pumps! Try it!

I'm not that vain when just being at home either. No makeup and my hair in a bun is my standard look for days when I just lounge around at home. And hen it gets even more fun to actually dress up and put on a red lipstick the next day! :) That's a wonderful dress you're wearing by the way! Love the print! :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely in florals! I am with you and love dresses and dressing up!

ReplyDeleteI admire your commitment to dressing up. I admit that I let myself go sometimes, and that's NOT good. I have to learn from you and get more disciplined. I owe that to myself! You look stunning as always. XOXO

ReplyDeleteI love your amazing dress!!!!!
I love to dress up too!!!!!
I always say that every day is a special day, adventure, and a great reason to dress up and feel my best!!!!
When I was younger- I'd "save" my special clothes for a possible upcoming occasion. I don't do that anymore- now every day to me is a special occasion and I love wearing my outfits.
Hope you're having a wonderful week!!!!!
It's been very cold here these past couple days- and rainy!!!!
Hugs,
Shannon
