It was all yellow....

Good Monday sunshines!! I hope your weekend was grand. I had a restful weekend & also discovered that Downton Abbey will have a special Christmas feature length episode shown on Christmas day here, so I shall tape it, haha! I know, I'm not alone in loving that show ;) What was also great, was that it was taped in Scotland here & one of the castles they go to is one, that yours truly took you too during the summer, so I was quite chuffed with that! If you want to see which one, you can see this post: Here. I'm excited to see it anyways, as I love that show and I know the dear Kim will want to see it too ;) Also..I'm tired of winter already..besides Christmas...I'm not a winter fan..I want the sun back and warmth and colours :)) All this grey and lack of colour is boring me a bit! I had to get out my paints and have a little session to satisfy myself!! But, here is some lovely yellow for you...to give a little happiness as they say yellow helps to boost the mood and make one happier & we need to be happy as it's Christmas!! Have a lovely Monday & week dolls!!

And I LOVE the yellow submarine bathtube :D! If I ever have a bathtube (finnish houses tend to have a shower only) I will find a way to customize it :D

  17. Kizzy,

The first photo is surely a masterpiece! I love the cool bathroom theme, it reminds me of the Beatles hit "Yellow Submarine" which I would be singing in the tub!

Yellow is surely a slice of sunshine...it brightens your day and brings a smile to your face. I hope you are having a great day and that the sun comes out to warm you and your spirit! :)

  18. oh kizzy, the words you say are so true. i try to constantly tell people all the time that bad & sorrowful times don't last. one has to have FAITH and BELIEVE. they're showing past clips of Downton Abbey. the new season for us will start in the New Year! bummer! hahaha i can't wait! i think that is so amazing that you've been to that castle and now to see it on tv used in downton abbey. that always thrills me! kizzy, i finished answering the questions, and i'll take a picture this week for you to add to it. also have to give you that recipe via email. have a great week doll! fabulous post and thanks for the shout out! hahaha i'm tickled! :)

  19. I'm not a huge Winter fan as you know so this post has cheered me up a little Doll. It's so awesome to see all the vibrant and striking colourful photographs, I got a really good kick out of all this yellow. I love the colour yellow a lot and think it works well with everything. I'm glad to hear about the Downtown Abbey Christmas special too. I don't watch it but my grandmother was a massive fan and I know that you absolutely adore it too from your Twitter.

  20. Thanks for that burst of sunshine to brighten my last hour at work! I have never seen Downton ... I missed the first series and then didn't want to watch the second without seeing the first .... I keep meaning to get myself the first series boxed set but then I don't know when I'd find time to watch it! Oh well, Call the Midwife's on on Christmas Day too. Have a lovely week. M x

  23. I get really tired of the cold very fast too - especially when it's just grey and boring outside...Right now though, Sweden looks like a huge, sparkling, white fluff-ball! ;D We have so much snow it's insane - but also extremely beautiful! Yesterday morning when I looked out through the window, and saw the winter wonderland, lit by a pink sun behind a hazy curtain, I seriously believed I had gone to bed in Sweden, and then woken up in Narnia! There was even one of those halo-phenomena around the sun! :) And then we have Downton Abbey, which I could talk about for a loooooong time. But I'll keep from doing that, and just mention the fact that I will probably cry the day it ends... ;) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  26. It's a miserable, dark and rainy Monday in NYC and this post is the perfect infusion of sunshine that I needed to brighten the mood. We've managed to escape harsh winter weather here so far and it was warm enough that I went out of the house in just a trench coat today. I know it's not going to last so I'm living it up while it lasts :) I need to get on that Downton Abbey train. I feel so out of it.

    Have a wonderful week!
