{The Powder Room} Neal's Yard Moisturizer!

Hello my darlings!! I hope the week is faring well for you so far. As I said on Monday, I'm introducing some new things here on the blog & one of them is product reviews. I am a self-confessed product junkie and love finding new ones to try, so instead of keeping them to myself as they pile up in my bathroom drawers, I'm going to be sharing them with you & letting you know how they fared. I always enjoy reading reviews on other blogs, as it's a great way to find new things and share experiences, so that you find something that works for you & save money & who doesn't like that!?! This first product, I got free in the InStyle magazine. I love when there are free products in magazines I read, as it's usually something I've never used or heard of even. So let's go.....

'Boosts radiance and protects youthful skin'. We've blended antioxidant-rich acai, bullberry and goji berry with moisturising hyaluronic acid in this lightweight, easily absorbed lotion, for beautifully nourished, radiant, healthy looking skin. Power Berry Daily Moisture contains Fairtrade Brazil nut oil to moisturise and antioxidant rooibos extract'.

Price: this product comes in a 50ml tube for £12 which is the size I got free.

My ThoughtsHaving used their products before when I did my Beauty Therapy course (and fully enjoying them) I had positive feelings on this being good & I can honestly say I wasn't let down, if fact it exceeded my expectations completely. I tried it first over night, putting it on before bed. The texture is light & a little goes a very long way. It gives this cooling feeling to the skin, like a light breeze with a sweet & tantalizing aroma. Sinking into the skin very easily, leaving it soft as silk. Not heavy at all, you forget you have it on. When I woke in the morning, my husband even said my skin looked brighter and felt softer. I thought this was going to be the only time it had this effect, but as I continued to use it, my skin kept getting better & the balance of my skin (it tends to get oily in the summer) improved. You can easily wear this under your make-up as well. I would most definitely buy this & look into their other products too. I love this product!

    1. Mine gets oily too, so I need light moisturizer for it. Neal's Yard are really good and with them being natural there's no chemicals in the products :)

  13. Kizzy, this is such a great new feature for your blog! I love the powder room name! This is going to introduce me to some British brands. I know NOTHING about British beauty products except for Butter London. HaHaHa I like that this moisturizer is light (that is so hard to find), works AND you can wear it underneath your makeup. Sizzling rating indeed! I love your rating system!!! :D That's too cute! Wishing you a wonderful day!

  22. I noticed when I was in Dublin that a lot of fashion mags came with free skin care products. That's pretty cool since they don't really do that in the states. Great review--sounds like a product that you might actually buy full size.

  25. I'm stingy when it comes to beauty products, although I understand that it's silly to be stingy in that area. Neils yard ... I remember that I loved the square when I was in London in 1997 and 2010.

  29. Love the new feature on the blog. I'm the type that really strays away from trying new products if I don't know anything about them. I hate wasting my money on something I don't end up liking. Love that I can read reviews and get an honest opinion from someone.
