Chocolate & Cream: JORD Wood Watch Review!!

Hello dolls! A while back I was contacted by the wood watch brand Jord asking if I would like to review one of their watches here on the blog. To be honest, I haven’t worn a watch in many years, just due to the fact that I could never find one that I liked long enough to actually wear it. My first instinct was to politely say no, but after my husband said that I positively have to look at their site (he’s really big on watches) my mind was quickly changed, because I didn't see just watches, but pieces of art, something that would last a long time and get passed down to other generations to have - it has soul really!

They’re timepieces that fit perfectly into modern lifestyle, I personally loved the dark wood, which is why I picked the 94A series dark sandalwood watch, the square face shape reminded me of something a secret agent or spy would wear *wink*. My Jord watch arrived in a beautifully crafted wooden box with the watch safely tucked inside wrapped around a presentation pillow, I really appreciated the attention to detail, down to the Jord logo engraved on everything too. My watch was even more lovely in real life that it had seemed in pictures, I'm glad I chose this one as the colouring of the wood is wonderful in the light. One thing I was definitely surprised by is how incredibly light-weight this watch was. Usually watches are clunky and heavy, but after putting it on, I barely knew I was wearing it. It fastened securely and didn't move like most watches have done for me before. 

Jord watches come in various woods like ebony, koa, purpleheart, zebrawood, rosewood, maple, bamboo and sandalwood like mine is made from. I appreciate that Jord has taken the time to provide & use woods of sustainability as well. They also feature this information under each watch so potential buyers can be informed too, in a world full of waste and trees being of such importance, the responsibility they have taken is great. I could really go on about this watch for days, but as you can see from the photographs, they speak for themselves, the watch isn't too bulky and fits in perfectly! This lovely timepiece has changed my mind about wearing a watch, although I may find this on my husband's wrist more than my own as he's already swiped it, ha!!
