Lazylinepainterbelle & The crazy unicorn lady!!!

Hiya dolls & Happy Monday!! Woo-hoo, I had a great birthday, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for such wonderful wishes, really humbling and I appreciated them so much!! You dolls are the best!! Today, I wanted to share something amazing, that of course was love at first sight!! These fantastically sweet beauties that come from a dazzling dainty shop called 'Lazylinepainterbelle' and their speciality is illustrated jewellery and accessories. 

All made by the magical hands of Michelle Souter from Dundee, Scotland. Her work is inspired by everything nautical, kawaii, kitch, cute, tattoos, pin ups and rockabilly babes! What I loved most about her shop is how delicious it was, but also how it has this underlining tone of wit (like the 'You suck' mugs) that made me instantly think of Alice in Wonderland - how things aren't always what they seem and surprises are around the corner. It's this exact charm that makes me fall for creations like this. Something that's quirky, unique and that bit cheeky too. 

Michelle is a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. Her studio is based in her flat in Dundee and she even has her own screen printing equipment. All of her designs are completely her own, for her mugs, she sends her designs off to have them heat transferred onto mugs and presto it's on it's way to you!!

I truly believe that artists like Michelle are the way forward, the future and how art itself will continue to live on. We rely too much at times on mass production and fast fashion, often forgetting that there is some really amazing talent out there like Michelle who can create the ideas we're looking for. Like, Michelle herself says, 'If  you can't find it, then make it! And how much do I need all these unicorn beauties!?! I love them so!! And of course the 'Doll' necklace is a must, haha!!
