| The Powder Room | Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic & Hydrating Milky Mist

After pregnancy my skin went haywire with the hormones going back to normal and that left my skin in a terrible state from it's once glowing appearance. I was interested in starting to use natural products after watching a video on the effects of chemicals and things in many popular brands on the skin. Having seen this brand all over Instagram, I decided to give them a try myself and see what all the fuss was about. The idea of them sounded really lovely, so it was perfect timing to find them.

(Note.this is not sponsored, all my own thoughts, I bought the products with my own money)

As you can see, I ordered the Pixi Glow Tonic and Hydrating Milky Mist as I didn't want to go overboard in products since my skin reacts to stuff it doesn't like really quickly and then I'd be stuck with un-usable products. After receiving them in the post (which didn't take long at all) I posted a picture on my instagram and got some comments stating how much they loved these products, so I was quite excited to give them a go. Well packaged and they even gave a free sample of their nail polish - win!

Upon first use, the tonic is gentle, has a soft scent, of course not synthetic at all, but real. It didn't sting my skin what so ever, but gave a lovely tingle that sank in quite nicely. You only need a small dab on some cotton wool, a little goes a long way. It also removes dead skin cells, which I thought was awesome. Once that's on, you use the hydrating mist which is so lovely. Very cooling on the skin and sinks in so fast, use this before applying your make-up as it keeps the skin moisturised without any greasiness. And the size is perfect to pop in your bag to refresh the skin if you need to during the day. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Glow Tonic (250ml) £18 - This tonic is MEGA!!! I've been using these products for over a month now and I don't know how I got on without them really. The tonic is so lovely, gentle and brilliant at getting any residue make-up off & dirt (riding underground trains & cities is not good for skin) The softness and tone of my skin has improved greatly over the month. I feel my skin looks brighter and clearer and it's great at bringing out any spots from under the skin and quickly getting rid of them. After a month, I've not even used half of this bottle yet, a cotton ball is all you need, a few drops and it covers your whole face (or at least on mine it did). It exfoliates, hydrates, and balances the skin. Suitable for all skin types.

Hydrating Milky Mist (80ml) £18 - I LOVE this mist, it keeps my skin moisturised without any greasiness. It's cooling and light. Perfect for pre-makeup applying. It has hyaluronic acid to plump the skin, the blend of black oat, provitamin A, and linoleic acid. Mist it over the skin, it's so gorgeous!! Can be used on all skin types. I found one full spray of this mist covered my whole face really, so I haven't had to use lots every day.

With that, I gave both of these Pixi Beauty products a Sizzling Heart  because they WORK!! You will not be wasting your money buying these. I've never used any face products that have worked as well as these have & I wouldn't have really just bought products like this online without having seen them in real life first, but I have to admit defeat here and say that I'm a fan. I'll definitely try other products as they do makeup as well and keep buying these ones. Very much worth the money. I haven't used the nail polish yet as my Lily is teething, so I haven't done my nails in a while, so once I use it, I will let you know how I got on. But, I would recommend either of these face products, I thoroughly enjoy using them. Have you used any Pixi Beauty products before?? Have a great day dolls.

(Rating scale: Sizzling Heart - Go & buy it, Hot Hot Heart - It's good, but not perfect, Lukewarm Heart - there were issues, I might buy it again, Frozen Heart - Do not buy, it was terrible)

  11. both the tonic and the hydrating mist sound dreamy....so great you found the right products from your skin. My skin has been all over the place lately, I think it is the cold, usually we have mild winters and this winter has been harsh but to be honest I kind of like it. I became a winter girl all of the sudden:) who would have thought?:) Anyway, I haven't heard about this pixi brand but they sound awesome and the packaging is so cute.
