Happy Monday dollfaces, I hope your weekend was bliss. It was lovely and dry here, though a tiny bit chilly. I thought I would share one of my favourite shops with you today & a piece that I had bought from them as well. Some of you will have seen this on my instagram when I was on a blog break, I decided to catch my blog up with my pictures, so they didn't go to waste just being on Instagram. A-Moderne is such a gorgeous antique and vintage clothing shop based in London that I came across on Instagram and have been in love with ever since. I absolutely love vintage pieces with a light dreamy aesthetic and this shop is like heaven to me.

If I had all the money in the world, I'd buy every piece because it's so clear that a lot of love & care goes into curating all of these lush gems for beauty seekers to wear & love. Andrea, the shop owner and curator definitely has a gift for seeking out the beautiful and I really do spend a lot of time -sighing- over each new item. But, it isn't just their beauty, old items always grasp me with what their story might be, who might have worn and loved these items and that's why I appreciate the care taken putting everything together.

I purchased this divine 1940's Front Lace Butterfly bed jacket as I had been admiring it for some time. Andrea was kind enough to let me know that it had a slight graze on it but, I wanted it any ways & when it arrived I realised she put these gorgeous clip on vintage earrings that I'm wearing in the picture as a little surprise for taking the item any way. Which was so lovely, I appreciate great customer service & they're so precious to wear. I hope to treat myself to more pretties in the future. I think it's so important to shop from small businesses and support them. Fast fashion & waste is becoming more and more of a problem & this is a great way to combat that and support small business owners & artists.
