You wanna know what living life to the fullest actually is? It's waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints. It's knowing you always deserve to laugh. It's doing what feels right no matter what. It's doing what you want, no matter how stupid you look. It's about being yourself, 'cause no one can tell you you're doing it wrong!
Another start of a brand new week, the weekend always seems to go so quickly. I hope it was filled with fun for you. On Saturday I went with my oldest daughter to the city for the day to have some fun. We started off with doughnuts from Tantrum Doughnuts as seen in this previous post. I tried a new one that they had out - Cherry Cheesecake and it was absolutely divine! Must go back for more of those, ha!
For lunch, we went to Five Guys, we had never been there before, but my daughter Saffron loves burgers, so we decided to try it out and she loved it. They have you a lot of fries and the burgers were double burgers, so we were stuffed by the time we left. I loved the fact that they had signs up to say where the produce had come from on that day as well, the place was so clean too. We had fun.
We also popped into Lush as usual and picked up some new items. Since I'm trying to use less packaging/recyclable packaging, I knew they would be the perfect place. We got to have some of the products demonstrated for us and get arm massages as well - sorry no photos of that, I was too busy enjoying myself, ha! But, these are the products I went for. All of them smell amazing & I'll have a full post about these once I've used them longer.
This Peachy bath bomb is from their Valentine's day range, I thought it was so cute and it smells amazing, this will be in a future post too. I can't wait to use it, the colours make the bath water so gorgeous.
I'm currently trying to organize the monster that is my dressing table. So, I found these earring holders on Ebay as I have a lot of dangly earrings that take up a lot of space, so these have become really handy. Very sturdy and I loved the Antique feel of them too.
I just finished this K-Drama - What's Wrong with Secretary Kim a 2018 South Korean drama that is based on the novel by Jung Kyung Yoon. Stars Park Seo Joon & Park Min Young, he's the narcissistic Vice President and she's the secretary he doesn't pay attention to most of the time. After 9 years she decides to quit and as the story goes on all these different circumstances bring them together and help mend past connections they didn't know they had. It was funny and sweet at the same time. I love that about most K dramas where you're watching a drama but they cleverly put in humor or suspense. I don't usually watch lovey dovey type shows, but this was fantastic and I loved these actors too.
And last but no means least, George at Asda has come out with a gorgeous mermaid range of homeware that I really need to order or go and get because I love it all!! The pastel shades are so beautiful and I love the vintage feel to them as well. The prices range from £3 - £15 so that is an absolute bargain. They ship around the UK and to some European countries too. George at Asda is like Walmart in America. So beautiful, lets be mermaids!
Have a gorgeous start to the week dolls.

What an awesome weekend! They do tend to go by so quickly don't they? We have a long weekend for Martin Luther King Day. I love how you do individual dates with little ones. Such a lovely way to make sweet memories with them :) One of my favorite things about K-dramas is how they snake in moments of levity even in the really serious ones. I didn't watch WWWSK because I'm not fan of either actor.
ReplyDeleteOh! That Lush bath bomb is adorable and I loooove the look of the cake - yum! The best way to enjoy the weekend haha!

Cherry/cheesecake flavour donuts sound heavenly. That burger place looks great too. I heard so many great things about K-dramas, that it got me thinking- maybe I should check one of these shows too, even if I normally don't watch soap operas (or any kind of shows really). It is always good to try something new, it breaks our routine and teaches us new things.
ReplyDeleteI love that antique looking thing you got for your earrings, it looks great. I love big earrings too. I used to make them too, but I suffer from allergies and sensitive skin so I don't wear earrings often. I should get some clip on earrings, those might not irritate my ears as much but on the other hand I'm always worried they will simply fall off.
Have a great week ahead!
awesome....

Hello beautiful, very much in agreement that nobody has the right to judge or say how we should live, it is better to get away from these people because of our mental health. How beautiful are your new earrings and the furniture inspired by the sirens! Kisses
ReplyDeleteThose lush products look lovely, the bath bomb looks especially cute x
