| Postcards from the weekend |

I see...the turning of a leaf dancing in the Autumn sun, and brilliant shades of crimson glowing when a day is done!

Autumn is in it's fullest bloom here now, the leaves are an array of golden & crimson shades, it's really magical. I actually don't find it too cold at the moment, there's a lovely warmth that stirs in the more chilled winds. I had a girl's day out to the city with my oldest Saffron, her birthday is later this week, she'll turn sweet 16, so we had a little shopping trip and lunch together. Thankfully there was no ran & I think other's had the same idea as there was a lot of people out enjoying the season too. I had a lovely short break from the blog as my anxiety tried to crop up but, thankfully the little break helped. Don't be afraid to just stop doing things and rest when you feel anxiety or other kinds of stresses, your health and well being comes first. Getting away from rambunctious little daughters was a great chance to clear my mind and just breathe.
There is always something happening in Glasgow, street musicians, shops, balloon shape creators, families spending time shopping. We stopped in and got food from Five Guys as that's what my oldest likes to eat, went to the comic book shop and browsed the manga to read, picked up some amazing brownies and wandered through the streets looking at street art and architecture. We stopped by Lush for our traditional stop to get bath bombs, there's so many to choose from but, I love this shop. Of course, I spotted BT21 funko dolls designed by BTS in the comic shop, haha. Now, I want them. It was a fantastic day, what did you do for the weekend? Let me know in the comments and have a wonderful new week doll-faces.

  1. It looks like you had a nice weekend Kizzy! I agree sometimes it's good to take a break. I've learned to take breaks especially when I'm having an anxiety. Have a wonderful week!

  2. The leaves have not turned here yet, I am looking out the window as I write this and they are still green. Wow I didn't know they had Five Guys in Glasgow. LOVE the dress!

  5. This sounds like weekend bliss. This time of year when the leaves start turning and the weather is still moderate is such magic. I just want to enjoy it as long as possible.

  8. As I would like there to be a Lush in my city to buy some bath bombs, well this weekend I had a walk in the country with my son and his classmates, this year he finished primary school and they are firing him this way, Sometimes I also stop writing because I feel exhausted with my daily activities, I try not to write if I am not well at all, sometimes it is good to disconnect. Kisses doll!

  10. I love that first photo of you. I can believe your oldest daughter is turning 16. How time flies! Who could guess you have a teenage daughter? You look almost a teenager yourself. Anyhow, it is nice you got to spend some time with her. I agree with you about taking time for us. It is so important. Sometimes just going to bed early can make a huge difference.
