Topsy turvy weather has taken over the past weeks, one minute sunny, the next wet and grey. Snow is currently falling and dancing in the wind outside my window. I do enjoy watching the snow fall, it has a lulling effect that calms me. Even though I long for the sunshine and flowers, I'll enjoy the snow however long it may last. I took these long before the rainy weather began again for weeks, it was nice to get outside and breathe in the fresh air, breaks like that in the weather always make winter more bearable for me. This is actually one of my favourite dresses, it's vintage Laura Ashley and though it may not look it, it's actually a touch heavy because there are layers in the skirt section, so it's like dressing for a party even though I wear it as an every day dress sometimes. Laura Ashley made some really dramatic floral dresses and I'm obsessed with finding them. This one was a bargain on Etsy, I loved the more modern like colours and design that reminds me of Betsey Johnson designs. Underneath I paired it with my stockings that I received from UK Tights - you would have seen them before in this in this post but, since I was unable to get outside that day, I decided to show them off in an outfit as well. Now that I've been wearing the tights that I received c/o UK Tights, I can recommend them even more. I did a price check on the pieces that I received and the prices were cheaper on UK Tights in comparison to any other tights specialists that I came across & in most cases, cheaper than the brands own website. So, if you love tights and such like that, please do save yourself some money and shop from them, they ship world wide and have so many brands, you'll be searching all day. But, besides that, I hope you're keeping well and having a great week so far. Be sure to take care of yourself if you live somewhere cold just now and treat yourself to something sweet because self care in any way is important - you are worth it! Have a sweet day :)
